A bid by child abuse accused Michael Jackson\'s counsel to get rid of an over zealous district attorney has failed.

The Los Angeles Times reports that lawyers for Jackson contended that District Attorney, Tom Sneddon, had been \'blinded by zeal\' and should be recused. The failed tactic was part of a defence strategy to cast doubt on the charges by casting doubt on Sneddon. Full report in the Los Angeles Times
