SA’s commitment to fighting corruption has been called into question after a detailed international study found that it had failed to fully implement international anti-corruption conventions, according to an article in today’s issue of Legalbrief Forensic. The newsletter also features a report that says several Johannesburg Metro Police Department officials have been using the credit card details of European, Australian and US tourists to pay the traffic fines of taxi drivers and motorists. Legalbrief Forensic is published every Thursday and covers issues relating to fraud, corruption, governance, cybercrime, transparency, risk management etc in SA and elsewhere.
