Associated Newspapers of Zimbabwe (ANZ), publishers of banned titles The Daily News and The Daily News on Sunday, whose application for an operating licence was denied by the Media and Information Commission (MIC), has filed a notice of appeal with the Administrative Court, reports The Herald.
In the notice of appeal, ANZ argues that the MIC erred in finding that the publishing house contravened the Access to Information and Protection of Privacy Act in the absence of a criminal prosecution and conviction. Full report in The Herald
