* A former domestic worker accused of cashing in a friend\'s winning lottery ticket worth R23.7m appeared in Bronkhorstspruit Regional Court yesterday. The case against Sarah van Rooyen was postponed to March 11 for further investigation. Her bail was extended. – News24

* The Boeremag treason trial in the Pretoria High Court has been delayed again because of problems with legal representation. Cross-examination of state witness, self-confessed Boer bomber Deon Crous, was to have proceeded yesterday, but the trial was postponed until tomorrow (Wednesday) after alleged Boeremag leader Tom Vorster fired his Legal Aid Board-appointed advocate, Danie Coetzee. – Sunday Times * The trial of the two Pretoria advocates on 16 charges involving alleged sexual violations of women and girls, was delayed yesterday in the Pretoria High Court, but is expected to resume today. – Sunday Times
