SA land in Zim to be protected

SA is on the verge of signing an agreement to protect the rights of South African landowners in Zimbabwe.

Trade and Industry Minister Mandisi Mpahlwa said the agreement with Zimbabwe would allow SA investors to take legal action if their property was expropriated, an SABC News report says. They would also be allowed to refer any investment related dispute to international arbitration. Zimbabwe officials said land already seized from South Africans might be returned once its land reform programme was complete. Full report on SABC News site
