Allegations of racism in the Pietermaritzburg office of the Director of Public Prosecutions have been found to be justified in a report prepared by a member of the National Prosecuting Authority, says The Mercury.
It says the confidential report, dated May 25, was distributed to advocates in the KZN DPP offices last week and has reportedly added to the simmering tensions. NPA spokesperson Makhosini Nkosi said the report was an internal matter. He said that if the report was publicised an investigation would be undertaken to find out who had leaked the document and the person could be prosecuted.
