Gospel singer's husband linked to her death

Police have arrested the husband of leading Nigerian gospel singing star Osinachi Nwachukwu after she died 10 days ago in an Abuja hospital. Initial reports said the 42-year old had been sick with throat cancer, but her family claimed she had been a victim of domestic abuse. Police are investigating the case. Sahara Reporters notes that Minister of Women Affairs Pauline Tallen has vowed that justice will be  served. BBC News reports that Nwachukwu featured on the 2017 hit gospel song Ekwueme, which has 71mYouTube views. She leaves behind four children.
