Nassif claims R10m from Kebble estate

In a move that raises questions about the motive for the killing of mining magnate Brett Kebble, Clinton Nassif, who is implicated in the murder, is demanding R10m from Kebbles estate, according to a report in the Sunday Times.
Kebble was shot dead behind the wheel of his car in September 2005. Nassifs alleged involvement in the murder was revealed following the arrest of Glenn Agliotti last year. Nassif and the man who allegedly shot Kebble, have since turned state witness against Agliotti. Details of Nassifs claim against Kebbles estate are contained in papers filed in the Johannesburg High Court by Marius Viljoen, a tax consultant who worked for both Kebble and Nassif. Viljoen, a former senior official at the SARS, is seeking to recover R450 000 in unpaid consulting fees from Nassif. In November, the Johannesburg High Court granted an order placing Nassif under sequestration for failing to pay the money. Full Sunday Times report
