* Judgment has been delayed in an application in the Pretoria High Court by the reserve bidder to the privatisation of the Komatiland Forests to have conditional approval of the transaction declared unlawful. – Business Report

* The charge sheet in the murder case of Noby Ngombane, the Free State Premier\'s policy unit head, has been handed in at the High Court in Bloemfontein. Ngombane was murdered last March. The High Court trial will start on March 13. Ngombane\'s wife, Nokwanda, and four of her family members are the main accused. – SABC News * The Oregon Supreme Court has affirmed a $79.5m punitive-damage jury verdict against US cigarette maker Philip Morris in a lawsuit filed by the widow of a smoker. Philip Morris said it again planned to seek review of the case by the US Supreme Court, which had previously set aside the damage award. – Los Angeles Times
