* Judgment has been reserved in the Treatment Action Campaign\'s (TAC) application for an urgent interdict against what it says is defamation by vitamin entrepreneur Matthias Rath, who has alleged the organisation is a front for pharmaceutical companies. Cape High Court judge Siraj Desai said he and his two fellow judges would deliver their ruling in the next few weeks. – IoL

* The Cape High Court has ruled that deaf mute Arnold Klaasen (33) had failed to prove his head injuries were received in a motor accident 10 years ago and rejected his claim for damages against the Road Accident Fund. – Cape Times
