* Former Judge HJ (Hennie) Erasmus died on Sunday last week at the age of 81. A report in Die Burger notes he was a law professor at the universities of the Free State, Port Elizabeth, Unisa and Stellenbosch where he became faculty dean until 1995 when he joined the Bench in Cape Town. He leaves his wife, Maureen, and three children.
