Fingerprint expert Inspector Chris Barnard told the Pietermaritzburg High Court yesterday that fingerprints linked three of the five men accused of murdering Greytown farmer David Varty to the scene of the crime.

According to a report on the IoL site, Varty was killed during a robbery at his parents’ home in March 2005. The five accused have pleaded not guilty.
