Croc park badly bitten by legal scandal

According to a report in The Herald, matters between the park and the municipality came to a head recently when municipal lawyers instructed the Sheriff of the Court to attach all the crocodiles at the park. This means the animals are itemised and cannot be sold legally until the attachment order is lifted. If the park does not pay its bill, the crocodiles can be auctioned off to raise the money owed. The debt relates to the criminal case laid by the municipality\'s Health Directorate against the park and its owner, Herbert Seyer, in June last year, for failing to properly dispose decaying horse, cattle and crocodile carcasses on the premises.
