Closing arguments in high school murder case

* Closing arguments in the Stella murder case will start in the North West High Court today. Advocate Sakkie Nel, acting on behalf of accused Xander Bylsma (20), closed the defence’s case yesterday. Although an admission by Bylsma that he killed Sharnelle Hough (17) and Marna Enelbrecht (16) in the hostel of Hoërskool Stella was earlier admitted as evidence, the defence argues that another pupil of that school probably committed the murders.
