A British schoolgirl who caused an outcry after being sent for an abortion on the advice of a school health worker and without the knowledge of her mother is pregnant again, reports The Telegraph.

Her mother, Maureen Smith, said she was desperate to \'replace the child she lost\'. Smith has lodged a case in the European Court of Human Rights, claiming that her rights as a parent were breached and that the family\'s privacy was invaded by care staff who secretly guided her daughter through the abortion. A similar case was recently reported in Durban, SA, where the family of a schoolgirl is suing her school after it allegedly arranged for her to have a secret abortion. Full report by The Telegraph
