Kahangayi Sedumedi (30), believed to be the so-called Century City serial killer, has been charged for one of the six murders that took place in Acacia Park, says a Cape Argus report.

Sedumedi, who had previously not been formally linked to the murders of six women whose bodies were found on a field near Century City, has had a fourth charge added - one of murder. He made his third appearance in the Goodwood Magistrate's Court last week, where he chose to abandon his bail application following new developments in the police investigation. He will remain in custody until his next appearance, and now faces two charges of robbery with aggravated circumstances, one of rape and one of murder. Magistrate Sean Lea postponed the matter to 24 March. Full Cape Argus report
