Has justice been served in LRA leader’s trial?

Few could have doubted that Thomas Kwoyelo, aka Latoni, a former leader of the Lord’s Resistance Army, would be convicted of many, maybe even most, of the war crimes-related charges he was facing. But, writes Carmel Rickard in her A Matter of Justice report on the Legalbrief site, now that the Uganda High Court’s specialised International Crimes Division has found him guilty on 44 of the counts he faced, controversy continues to swirl around the trial, and whether justice has been properly served.
