Former MP denied bail in graft case

Former Chegutu West MP Dexter Nduna has appeared in court on charges of illegally collecting vehicle parking fees from motorists in Chegutu. He was remanded in custody and ordered to reappear in the Chegutu Magistrate's Court on 29 October. New Zimbabwe reports that prosecutor Tafadzwa Vhore said the ex-lawmaker told motorists that a company linked to him, Team Chapter, was now responsible for collecting vehicle parking fees. Two motorists reported the matter to the police and he was detained.
