Kenya’s Salaries and Remuneration Commission (SRC) has stepped up its bid to ensure MPs take a salary cut. While the lawmakers obtained a court order late last year preventing the implementation of a gazette notice that reduced their salaries and allowances, the commission has accused the Parliamentary Service Commission of failing to disclose relevant information to the court before the decree was made. The Daily Nation reports that the SRC now wants the High Court order set aside.
