Heavy sentence for child porn paedophile

A convicted paedophile has been given 32 life sentences and 170 years in prison for 870 charges of rape and possession of child pornography. East Rand car salesperson Warren Troy Knoop was sentenced by Judge Cassim Moosa in the Gauteng High Court (Johannesburg) on Monday. Knoop earlier pleaded guilty to all 870 of the charges of rape and possession of child pornography. A report on the News24 site notes that Knoop was caught when US officials found him sharing scores of videos on a website commonly accessed by paedophiles. Several laptops, external hard drives, cellphones, memory cards, a DVD, PlayStation console and a mini spy camera were seized from Knoop during a raid.
