Man at centre of hoax e-mails saga disappears

The IT consultant implicated in the hoax e-mail saga has disappeared, according to an SABC News report.

Muziwendoda Kunene was last seen on Friday morning and his wife has been unable to contact him since. The e-mails allegedly contained correspondence between individuals plotting to deal with ANC leaders who are seen to be opposed to President Thabo Mbeki. Belinda Kunene said: \'My husband had all along harboured fears that he may be attacked or killed because of his alleged involvement in the so called hoax e-mails saga.\' The Mail and Guardian reported last month that the 73 pages of e-mails contained messages between senior ANC officials and other politicians. The alleged e-mails were reportedly aimed at discrediting Jacob Zuma, the former Deputy President, and Kgalema Motlanthe, the ANC Secretary General. Full SABC News report
