The SARChI post-doc fellowship is to support researchers who have completed their doctoral studies within the last five years, to carry out further research in the various fields of multilevel government: in South Africa, comparative studies on federalism and decentralization elsewhere in Africa, and global studies on federalism. The SARChI fellowship requires a highly motivated researcher to build and grow knowledge of how systems of multilevel governance can promote effective state building and development in Africa and elsewhere.
