* A prosecutor from Germiston briefly appeared in court yesterday on charges of fraud and forgery, said East Rand police. Superintendent Andy Pieke said the 28-year-old prosecutor was arrested on Friday. He allegedly took out a loan of R6 500 in November in the name of a magistrate at the Germiston Magistrates Court.
