Senior Ekurhuleni official suspended

* Ekurhuleni has suspended, with pay, a senior official over allegations of tender fraud and corruption. It said the manager was suspended after allegations of tender fraud involving millions of rands came to the city's attention. A complaint of unethical and corrupt behaviour was also reported against the individual to the SA Council for Social Service Professions.
