Roussos in court on fraud, corruption allegations
Mike Roussos, former CE of Gauteng Shared Services Centre (GSSC), was arrested yesterday on allegations of fraud and corruption relating to an amount of R4.6m.
A Moneyweb report says he appeared in the Specialised Commercial Crimes Court and was released on bail of R3 000. A police spokesperson confirmed that Roussos\' arrest was related to Awaken Consulting and Trading (Pty) Ltd, a company that was apparently a beneficiary of GSSC contracts worth R4.6m. In a statement read by his Advocate, Roussos said he was sure that the State\'s allegations were baseless and that its case against him must be very weak. Full Moneyweb report
