Rapist gets 22 years

* Mandlenkosi Manana – who broke into a student residence in Madadeni and raped a woman (20) – was yesterday sentenced by KZN High Court (Pietermaritzburg) Acting Judge Louis Barnard to an effective 22 years in prison. His partner in crime, Sanele Khumalo, was sentenced to an effective 15 years’ imprisonment. He did not take part in the rape.
