Double murder accused abandons bail bid

* Double murder accused Shalin Ganesh abandoned his bail application at the Scottburgh Magistrate's Court yesterday. He has been charged for the murder of Umkomaas couple Sathie Pillay and his wife Southree Pillay. The couple were found dead in their Willowglen home on 1 August. The matter was adjourned to 30 August for further investigations.
