Court almost releases wrong suspect on bail
The Roodepoort Magistrates Court almost released the wrong suspect on bail when the incorrect prisoner was brought up form the holding cells.
The magistrate postponed the case and granted prisoner X bail of R5 000. His error was discovered after the prosecutor called the name of an armed robbery suspect for the next case.
