Cezanne Visser will know her fate today
Cezanne Visser, known as 'Advocate Barbie', will find out today whether she is to be jailed on the 14 sex-related charges she faces, ranging from indecent assault to manufacturing child pornography.
A report in The Times says Visser (32) who pleaded not guilty to all charges in the North Gauteng High Court, claimed she had no will of her own and blindly followed the orders of her former lover, Dirk Prinsloo. On the first day of delivering his judgment yesterday, Judge Chris Eksteen summarised the evidence led, and evidence and testimony from a previous trial, in which Visser was accused with Prinsloo. Much of it was presented before Judge Essop Patel, who died in 2007, after Prinsloo skipped bail and fled to Russia. Full report in The Times
