Car-smash judge takes leave after meeting with Ngoepe
Judge President Bernard Ngoepe said yesterday that Pretoria High Court Judge Nkola Motata has taken leave of absence from duty until the end of February, says a report on the IoL site.
Ngoepe met Motata yesterday following the judge\'s arrest in Johannesburg on Friday after driving through a garden wall in his Jaguar. He was allegedly driving drunk. Motata is scheduled to appear in court on February 27. Motata allegedly resisted arrest and was put in a police car by five metro police officers. Full report on IoL site
