Assassin awaits refugee hearing in Canada
The application for refugee status in Canada for Mozambique\'s most notorious assassin, Anibal dos Santos Junior (Anibalzinho), will not be heard until at least December 14, since the court official concerned has not yet decided on whether the hearing will be made public.
Anibalzinho, reports Agencia de Informacao de Mocambique, is the man who led the death squad that murdered Mozambique\'s top investigative journalist, Carlos Cardoso, in 2000.
