Alleged key figures in Kebble killing said to be co-operating
Former Elite Security Group bouncers Mikey Schultz and Nigel McGirk, who both worked for Central National Security, a company run by Kebbles former security chief, Clint Nassif, are co-operating with investigators.
According to a Sunday Times report they are said to hold the key to who ordered and carried out the killing of businessman Brett Kebble on September 27 last year. The report says Schultz is the brother-in-law of Mark Groenewald, owner of Dan Mar Auto, where Kebbles car was cleaned within hours of the murder destroying crucial forensic and ballistic evidence. It claims Nassifs arrest for insurance fraud three weeks ago set in motion a series of events that has led to the arrest of Glenn Agliotti, National Police Commissioner Jackie Selebis friend.

Another business associate of Kebble is sought by police. James Stratton, who is in Australia, had spoken to Kebble two hours before his death. A Mail & Guardian Online report says Stratton had blocked Kebble family investigator Judge Willem Heath from probing the security company of Clinton Nassif in connection with the murder. Weekend media reports said investigators wanted to question Stratton after receiving certain information from Nassif. Meanwhile, the ANC did not discuss issues around embattled National Commissioner Jackie Selebi, a friend of Agliotti, at its weekend National Executive Committee meeting. ANC spokesperson Smuts Ngonyama said the allegations linking police Selebi to criminals was not on the NEC agenda. However, it was noted at the meeting that the matter was being looked into and if any wrongdoing is found to have been committed by any person then appropriate action will be taken.
