SAPS members seize abalone worth R3m

* Kraaifontein SAPS members delivered a massive blow to the illegal abalone trade when they seized dried abalone worth millions last week. The policemen raided a home in Loarti Village, Kraaifontein, where the members discovered shelves stacked with dried abalone. More than 5 000 dried abalone were seized, with an estimated street value of more than R3m.
