SA Mint releases green commemorative coin

* The South African Mint, a wholly owned subsidiary of the South African Reserve Bank (SARB), yesterday released into circulation a new R2 commemorative circulation coin themed ‘Environmental Rights’ as part of its coin programme launched last month to commemorate 25 years of SA's constitutional democracy. Designed by Pretoria-based artist Maaike Bakker, the reverse (tails) of the ‘Environmental Rights’ coin features an illustration showing a fish, plants and the sky.
