* The drought-plagued greater Oudtshoorn area experienced much-needed bursts of water with severe thunderstorms and flash flooding in the area last week. The severe downpours resulted in damage to many homes. Municipal emergency officials were attending to a number of complaints following the flash floods in Greater Oudtshoorn.
