eThekwini appoints new recycling bag supplier

* The eThekwini Municipality has appointed Verigreen on a two-month contract to supply the orange bags used for recycling paper and cardboard. The short-term contract with Verigreen comes after the cancellation of the city’s contract with plastic manufacturer Persian Star Investments 11 CC. The contract, awarded in 2015, was cancelled last year after the contractor failed to meet targets.
