Pastor plans to contest elections

A Zimbabwean pastor who was arrested earlier this year for prophesying that President Robert Mugabe would die in October says he plans to contest the forthcoming elections as an independent candidate. New Zimbabwe reports that Philip Mugadza said he would contest the 2018 elections as a candidate for the Gutu south constituency seat. ‘I have seen many people suffering for the last two decades, and now it's time to meet him (Mugabe) and his party in parliament,’ he said. Mugadza was arrested in Harare after claiming that Mugabe would die on 17 October.
