Suspected serial rapist arrested

Nigerian police have arrested a man suspected of raping 40 females over the past year. A mother in the northern town Dangora caught the man in her children's bedroom and neighbours apprehended him. BBC News reports that the police say the victims were aged between 10 and 80. ‘We hope justice will be served appropriately,’ said police spokesperson Ahmadu Yau. There has been a recent surge in rapes and killing of women in Nigeria and thousands have signed a petition under the hashtag #WeAreTired.
