A group of suspected hackers have been arrested in Rwanda while attempting to siphon funds from a bank. The Rwanda Investigation Bureau said the hackers planned to steal money from accounts at Equity Bank, but it did not reveal when this occurred. BBC News reports that the suspects are eight Kenyans, three Rwandans and one Ugandan. Equity Bank is a regional financial services giant with branches in Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, South Sudan and the DRC.
