The Court of Appeal in Abuja has nullified Ademola Adeleke’s victory in the Osun State governorship election. The Premium Times reports that a five-member panel delivered the judgment with three members agreeing with the lead judgment. Adeleke contested the governorship election on the platform of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP). The Independent National Electoral Commission declared Osun State governor Gboyega Oyetola the winner after a re-run poll but the tribunal said Oyetola won the election at the first ballot.
