At least 60 people have been arrested at an anti-government protest in Nigeria's capital Abuja. BBC News reports that tensions have been simmering over the past year following President Muhammadu Buhari’s re-election with many claiming his victory was not credible. Former presidential candidate and Sahara Reporters founder Omoyele Sowore, who started the Revolution Now movement, is awaiting trial on charges of ‘treason, money laundering and cyber stalking’.
