Police in Niger have arrested more than 300 Sudanese migrants after protests in the town of Agadez led to almost an entire transit camp being burnt down. BBC News reports that migrants have spent the past month demonstrating in front of the offices of the UNHCR camp calling for their paperwork to be processed and asking to be transferred to countries in Europe. After police violently dispersed the protesters, some migrants torched about 300 prefabricated homes.
