Namibia pledges to extend SA visas

Namibian President Hage Geingob on Friday said SA businesspeople working in Namibia would soon be able to get five-year working visas in the country. Addressing the Namibia Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Geingob said he had received complaints about the current two-year visa regime. A report on the Business Insider site notes that SA is Namibia’s largest SADC trading partner. Geingob also said his government wass planning to introduce e-visas, after introducing visas-on-arrival for a selected number of countries.
