President George Weah has accepted the resignation of Liberia's Central Bank Governor Nathaniel Patray following ongoing investigations over his alleged role in misallocation of state funds, including $25m meant to ease inflation. Patray has denied any wrongdoing. Weah 'profoundly' thanked Patray for his services.
