Ruling party deeply divided

Lesotho’s ruling All Basotho Convention is deeply fractured. One faction of the party insists its national executive committee has resolved to recall Prime Minister Moeketsi Majoro while the other rebuffs the claim as ‘a big fat lie’. Sources say party members brawled over the Majoro recall issue last week. The Lesotho Times reports that party spokesperson Montoeli Masoetsa insists a resolution was taken to recall Majoro.
