Prosecutors in in a high-profile Kampala murder trial say one of the suspects last week identified his alleged accomplices. Biasaali Mugoya has confessed to the murder of Sheikh Mutumba on 14 February. New Vision reports that Mugoya, a senior supervisor at a Kampala security company, initially claimed he acted alone. His co-accused, James Mugoya, Amos Kojja, Sulaiman Konta, Charles Mwandha, John Jagenda, Ashraf Mugoya and Alex Mugoya alias Waiswa have denied their involvement. The case was adjourned to 31 March.
