Intoxicated MP hits a nerve

Mozambique’s main opposition party, Renamo, has apologised for the behaviour of MP Antonio Muchanga who appeared to be intoxicated during a televised political show last week. The moderator of the Pontos de Vista (Points of View) programme on STV asked him to leave the studio. BBC News reports that party spokesperson Jose Manteigas said Muchanga might face disciplinary action.
