Shot hip hop star settles with police

* Hip hop star Khuli Chana last week settled – reportedly for R1.8m – in the Gauteng High Court (Johannesburg) with the South African Police Service after his traumatic shooting ordeal in 2013. In a case of mistaken identity, Khuli Chana was pursued by the SAPS who believed he was a kidnapper and fired shots at the hip hop artist. He survived this harrowing ordeal after the SAPS fired nine shots at him with an automatic rifle.
