Chadian Minister Kalzeube Deubet, who served as the country's Premier from 2013-16, has been arrested following a complaint from the state inspectorate general for fraud. A report on the News24 site notes that the current secretary-general of the presidency is responsible for coordinating government's activities. President Idriss Itno, who has governed the poor, oil-rich state since 1990, last year vowed to crack down on entrenched graft.
