The International Organisation for Migration has repatriated 160 African migrants who have been living in squalor in Libya. The situation in and around Tripoli has become increasingly violent and unstable since militants began an offensive two weeks ago to capture the capital. Voice of America reports that the UN agency organised a charter flight to Mali where most will be accomodated. However, 61 migrants from Ivory Coast and Burkina Faso will be sent home. The IOM has repatriated 3 175 migrants from Libyan detention centres this year.
